Add a note for installers

To share additional context or special instructions about a job with the installation team, you can add a note for installers to the job info sheet.

Steps:

There are two ways to add a note for installers. You can either:

  • Add it while completing the Start job task, where it’s optional.
  • Add it directly to the job record.

Outcome:

The note for installers will be shown in two places:

  • On the job information sheet that installers can view in the Installer app.
  • On Console, in the job record.

Edit a note for installers

Once a note has been added, you can edit it from the job record.

Steps:

  1. Go to the job record.
  2. Find the note for installers and click the edit button.
  3. Edit the note and click Update.

Outcome:

  • The updated note will be shown in the job information sheet and the job record.
  • The installers doing the job will receive an app notification to view the updated note.
