Schedule a job in Console

Job scheduling can be done from Console or the Installer app. To change your job scheduling method, contact customer support.

When Console scheduling is enabled for your company, you can schedule jobs directly from Console.

Scheduling happens in two steps:

  1. You assign the job and confirm or propose a job date.
  2. If you didn’t confirm the job date in step 1, you confirm the job date with the customer.

1: Propose or confirm a job date

Steps:

  1. Start the job, then open the Assign job task.
  2. Select the team and the job date.
  3. Indicate whether you've confirmed the job date with the customer.

Outcome:

If the job date was:

  • confirmed: The customer will receive the job scheduled SMS, and the job status will become Scheduled.
  • not confirmed: The customer will receive the job date proposed SMS, so you can work together to agree on a date. The job status will become Accepted

2: Confirm the job date

If you didn’t confirm the job date in step 1, you'll need to confirm it once they agree.

Steps:

  1. Open the Confirm job date task.
  2. Enter the correct job date.

Outcome:

  • The job status changes to Scheduled .
  • The customer receives a job-scheduled SMS confirming the booking is locked in.
