Add a customer and site

Before you can start a project for a customer, you need to add them to Console and create their site.

Add a customer

Steps:

  1. Go to Records, then click Add customer
  2. In the drawer that appears, enter their details.
  3. Click Create

Outcome:

You'll be taken to the customer workspace for your new customer.

Add a site

Steps:

  1. In the customer workspace, click Add site
  2. In the onboard customer site task that appears, enter the site details
  3. Click Submit

Outcome:

The site will appear in the customer workspace. At the end of the task, you can also choose to create a project immediately, or you can do this later from the site record.

Add additional sites

Each customer can have multiple sites in Console.

To add another site:

  1. On the customer workspace, in the top customer context, click the more button in the top right, then click Add site
  2. In the task that appears, enter the site details
  3. Click Submit

The additional site will appear in the left sidebar.
