Asset register
The Asset register provides a centralised view of all the assets your company has installed.
It includes assets that are pending commissioning, installed, undergoing service, or decommissioned.
It doesn’t include assets allocated to a job that haven't been installed yet. These are shown on their associated site records.
Accessing the Asset register
To open the Asset register, click the menu icon in the top navigation and select Asset register.
Table columns
The Asset register displays the following information for each asset:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | The product type, such as battery, EV charger, gateway, inverter, or solar panel. |
| Product name | The standardised product name. |
| Model | The specific model identifier. |
| Serial number | The asset's serial number. |
| Status | The current asset status. See asset statuses for definitions. |
| Customer | The customer associated with the asset. |
| Site | The site address where the asset is installed. Click the address to open the site. |
| Installation date | The date the asset was installed. |
| Warranty end date | The calculated warranty end date, based on the installation date and the product's warranty period. |
Search for assets
You can use the search bar in the left panel to find assets. Search works across any column in the table, so you can search by type, product name, model, serial number, status, customer, or site address.
Filter assets
Use the filters in the left panel to narrow down the table. You can filter by:
- Status - Select one or more asset statuses.
- Type - Select one or more product types.
- Installation date - Set a from and/or to date to filter by when assets were installed.
- Warranty end date - Set a from and/or to date to filter by warranty expiry.
You can combine multiple filters together and combine filters with search to find exactly the assets you're looking for.
To reset all filters, click Clear all.
Sort the table
Click any column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order. The sort arrow shows which column is currently sorted and in which direction.
By default, the table is sorted by installation date (newest first).
Export to CSV
To export the current view:
- Apply any filters or search criteria to display the assets you want to export.
- Click download in the top-right corner of the table.
The export includes only the rows currently displayed based on your filters and search.
