5. Sales project walkthrough
We’ll now run through an end-to-end Sales project workflow, using an example customer, Sophie, who’s after a new solar system. In it, we’ll go through the main actions and tasks that you’ll do in Console, the Installer app, and Pylon, and show you how information flows from one app to another.

1. Add a customer and site in Console
In this step, we’ll add our new customer, Sophie, to the platform and add a site for her.
2. Add a linked Pylon project in Console
In the previous step, we created a site for Sophie.
In this step, we’ll create a UPowr project in her site that's linked to a Pylon project. While creating our Pylon proposal, we’ll also unlock the SLD so it can flow into UPowr.
3. Start an installation job in Console
In the previous step, we created a Pylon proposal for Sophie.
She has now signed the proposal, so in this step, we’ll start an installation job in Console and push it to the Installer app. This will automatically move the sales project to the Installing stage.
4. Accept and schedule a job in the Installer app
In the previous step, we pushed Sophie’s installation job to the Installer app.
In this step, we’ll accept the job and schedule the installation with her.
5. View job progress in Console
In the previous step, we scheduled the job with Sophie.
In this step, we’ll look at how work done on her job in the Installer app is shown in Console.
6. Complete tasks in the Installer app
In this step, we’ll complete the Installer app tasks for Sophie’s installation.
7. Complete tasks in Console
In the previous step, the in-field team completed Sophie’s installation.
In this step, we’ll complete the final Console tasks for her sales project. When they’re done, you’ll see the installed assets on the site record, and the sales project will move to the Completed stage.
